Dear Blog,

I just woke up with a nice tune in my dream today. It was a happy tune, and the dream related to it was kind of disgusting but funny. So I woke up and continue to work on it for a potential song. (It is pretty good so far).

So i was finally getting happier together with CNY days which made me lighten up a bit, and feel like working on my own things a bit more. Finally I got out of the depressed feeling when E flew to the other end of the globe.

JUST WHEN I GOT OUT OF THAT SADNESS...she just had to. SHE JUST HAD TO DO IT.

she broke the news that I'll have to help out again after CNY.
I really HATE going to the stall to help out. This news has made me reallly reallllly sad and depressed and angry once again.
Since young (i believe at least 5 years old,) I have been helping out in the stall [everyday when i was young], and it really makes me HATE F&B jobs...that is why I never even think of being a waitress or anything like that. I've been called back again and again throughout days of childhood, throughout my teens, and now adult life. It is not that I am not appreciative of their job, it is not that i am ashamed. It is not that I couldn't see it, I feel sad too now and again times now and then i weep for them working their asses off to bring me up. And since i know it isn't a nice job to be working on everyday, and it is very tiring. BUT I REALLY HATE WORKING THERE.

The thing is, I don't even have the right to reject, I don't even have to right to be angry, I DON'T EVEN HAVE THE FUCKING RIGHT TO BE SAD!

this is my fucked up life right now.
Hopefully this is the only suck-y bit. I hate myself being like this. I want to be happy. be capable of great things. have time to work on my dreams, my career, my future. Not stuck in the vicious cycle of all these relentless shit.

-sorry and i just have to rant, and get it all out.

Dear God, If you do exist (which I very much like to believe you do) Please, Please, let me find a decent job soon.. :(
If i'm able to find a decent job, or churn out a career that's enough to keep the family alive without them working, they can finally be relieved off their tiring and awful duties (even if i do not know if they hated it like I do). And if that is so, I wouldn't have to work there anymore too! :)
Please let me find a job of my interest and my love, my passion in music...and prove to people and her that I can do it. I can do what i like, be happy, and make a living out of it. Make her understand, she's old, it wil be sad if she never understood the importance of it in her entire life. Especially when it is possible and nothing is forcing you to not do it (like if you are stuck in a deserted island, or being in extreme poverty). The way for her to be convinced is that I do it. I make it, and show it to her live.

How can I be sad when it's holiday now.

Maybe it's because my mom just scolded me for being at home whole day, yet not helping out with housework.
Maybe it's because I feel useless and helpless, not knowing exactly what to do next in life to achieve something close to my dream.
Maybe it's because I feel I'm too old to complete what I dreamt about.
Maybe it's because I am not doing anything my maximum best (as much as i could) towards it.
Maybe it's because I do know I am completely capable of doing but just lack the courage and missed the perfect timing.
Maybe it's because the choice of going to NUS is not the right choice.
Maybe... This is not a maybe. It's because that E is going to the complete opposite place and be away for three years.

This is a scary thought.
I am truly happy for him. I am. I admire his courage to chase his dreams and just move towards it. I am in fact envy that he can go to the place and do something I yearned to do but couldn't myself. I wish I can be like him too. Maybe I asked for too much.
But I am still really proud and glad for him. I hope he'll return home and make himself proud. I hope he will not forget me.
And at the same time I do not know what lies ahead for me. I hope it's good. I want to make myself proud too.

I am happy for him and at the same time sad for myself.
It is bittersweet.

I know this post sounds entirely childish and makes me seem like idkwatever...but this is what my heart really says.

This FB wall post was by a super annoying Business student I had to deal with for the entire semester. (Sadly cos he is my group mate for the entire sem)

On the first week of school, he SMSed me to ask "do we have anything due tml?"

On the second week, he called to ask "we have exercise 1, need to hand in or not ah?"

On week three, this is EPIC. He called and ask me "Aye Chloe ah, your house got printer? Can help me print lecture notes?" I agreed thinking it's only the next days' (Monday) lecture notes as it is already Sunday night 9pm, I thought: 'ok, no harm helping, since it's just ONE set of notes'. He even specified he wants 4 slides per page, double-sided print.

PLEASE LA! I don't even print 4 slides, I print 6 slides per page and double-sided print is DIFFICULT to do on my comp k. But nvm, maybe you can't read, I print 4 slides for you.

Then I received his email. The mail contained 1 lecture notes from our module, and SEVEN ADDITIONAL LECTURE NOTES + 3 TUTORIAL NOTES.

WTF? (I know right)

I messaged him asking "SO MANY?!", he replied saying "I'll pay for the notes ok?" what? Ok? Hello I'm not a printing service. Even if you pay me, what about the time (estimation ard 30mins) I would have lost while printing for you?

Conclusion: I printed his notes (the one for next day's lecture) minus 1 page & told him my printer ran out of ink.

Since then, I've ignored all his SMSes and calls. When my mobile phone rings showing his number, I would turn the ringtone off and let it ring in silence.

Calls and SMSes were only replied or answered when in need.

This f*cker totally started me swearing.

That was not all. Well moving on to the rest of the group mates....

Our group have 4 people, 3 other guys + Me.

EPIC OVERNIGHT PROJECT MEETING IN CHANGI AIRPORT.

We had one meeting at Changi Airport which went from 7pm and hopefully end by 10pm. But HELL NO. It ends at 6am?! Mutherf*ckers!

WHY?

Ans: Cos these people are f*cking inefficient. We spent the first 4 hours just debating on the the first question! (it isn't even a long question)

Staying up so late which is what I totally ain't used to (I usually sleep at 11pm-12am) So much so that I had my gastric acting up. Then when I was grabbing a little nap at 5am, my group mate had to nudge me to wake up! WTF?

Hello?! Moreover I had rashes the day b4, and is on drowsy pills alright. I was rushing a presentation the day before till 2am and had to wake up at 630am that day. I had so many interviews to go that week, I didn't even had enough rest already and yet you don't allow me to sleep for a little while? I'm not a zombie you f*cker!

As weeks past by, I'm just getting more and more angered each day by them. They are so f*ckering inefficient that we have to meet 3 times per week. wth. Really hate seeing their faces to the point where I could puke on their face like the spitter in L4D, letting them burn.

A 1 page project proposal could take them the entire night (7pm - 5am) to finish. (I went off at 1am that day, cos I'll have to wake up at 6.30 the next day, and 2 of them who stayed are hall stayers). I could have finished off the proposal within 20mins if I were to do it alone.

Seriously hate them to the core, they are sucking up so much of my time and making me super angry for a module not worth this much attention.

This is a Unrestricted Elective Module, which means that I could choose to select the Satisfactory (pass) / Unsatisfactory (fail) option if I didn't do that well and it will not count towards my CAP. Which is entirely what I intended to do. I only need to pass the module! And intended to be more relax and let me spend more time focusing on my major modules.

This was totally proved wrong. Thanks to a group of f*ckers who totally messed this up for me. I had to spend 2x more time on this project than my majors added together. F*CK.

Seriously hate them & they are the reason why I have such bad impression on the OOO-Biz students which was totally spoiled by them. I know not all biz students are that inefficient, I had one group mate who was really good at what she does and totally do fine, we had such enjoyable time working together. But this group, seriously...is the only reason why I keep swearing the entire semester on alternate days (when I have to meet them) over on twitter. Seriously I ain't a swearer. But they really know how to push the button and set the alarm off.

Soooo for those who can't stand me swearing, I'm sorry and apologize for that. But sometimes people have their limits and when times like this comes, you really can't help it.

Back to the picture I posted on top, I was glad I ain't the only one who thinks that of him. And him seeing a pattern, I suppose he should get the hint that he really have some problems himself. Hopefully one day he will realize it, as seen from his action, posting those words on the wall he clearly was blaming others for being nasty and not feeling guilty and reflecting

on his attitudes and behaviors.

Hello, going through poly, army and being in the last year of your university life, you are at least 25. GROW UP PLEASE. You can't expect people to babysit you every minute and be walking reminders and organizers around you. Learn to do things yourself. F*CKER.

Thank goodness the module is over (well there's still last week of presentation, but I really hate seeing their faces I would sacrifice my attendance mark to save myself from being angry and the urge to puke again).

Inception is true!

I just dreamt that I couldn't breathe properly cos my mom puts her leg on my neck. Then I dreamt that I woke up, on the sofa which I slept on (in reality) and then told my dad about it before falling back asleep again.

This time I dreamt of a 3D animation flim setting, and I'm in it, from a first person's perspective. There are 3 (helium) air balloon (shaped like pretty hot air balloons) with people (or animals-keroppi type) in it and one which looks like a blue rocket starts to deflate shortly after lifting off.

I was on a train, and looked up into the beautiful full moon, then I suddenly saw this strange looking blue circle beside the moon which looks like an eclipse. That thing is getting larger. I realized it's the deflated blue rocket balloon falling from the sky. (Climax of story = tension of it falling on me) Thank goodness it landed safely in an arena along with 2 other balloons, where it's supposed to be and crowds begin to cheer (without knowing the balloon deflated).

And I woke up, realizing I didn't have that conversation with dad...

The Time Traveler's Wife

Nothing beats reading a great book during a vacation. This is a story I've been reading for the past 6months (minus 5 in between when I paused). And have finally come to the conclusion. I wouldn't say I like the ending nor do I hate it but I surely love the story told through the words printed on the pages of paper. A heartfelt story which brings us through the lives of the time traveler's and his wife. As if we have known them all our life. Like we've been through the thick and thin, joys and sorrows with them. Random dates and fragments of story which seems so 'normal' after a while. And I have to admit I've never felt so much for the characters through a book as this before. It feels as real as I am in their shoes and went through the relationships with them, and still at a lost now even as when I'm done with it. Towards the end of the story, I've cried enough tears and wantons to cook a soup for 4.

I'll rate this 5/5 one of the best books I've ever read. Damn I still feels so real, so surreal I thought I might be the one time traveling soon (out of crying too much and having a headace now) =\

I woke up from a new composition in my dream, recorded it down in my phone, and went on listening to other bits and pieces of ideas I have had in the phone. The list goes on to more than 20 of them. Fragments, lines, beats, rock, ballad, violin, vocals...so many which I've never had the time to get my hands on to doing it. Music is like an evil force which sucked me into it. Or it is a power/energy force which I feed on. The thirst is hydrating my beauty, much to which i looked haggard and worn. I don't feel like studying since I woke up. But it's just a few weeks more, and I have to trick myself to dive into the piles of books and notes again. Come on! You've gone through 4 months of it, you're reaching the finishing line. A while more, just a little while more you'll get to the end. Don't give yourself into temptations now, else you'll waste your 4 months worth of effort. Yes, yes. I'm crawling with my last pack of reserved fuel left in my body to the finishing line. Where something lies ahead is calling my name. Holiday is calling my name.

One day, a professor asked his students 'Why do we SHOUT instead of speak when we are ANGRY?'

All the students thought for a while. One answered 'Because we lost our cool. That's why we SHOUT.'

Asked the professor again, 'But the person is just right next to you, why can't we talk softly but have to SHOUT?'

Everyone gave their opinions but none was accepted by the professor.

Lastly explained by the professor 'When we are ANGRY, our hearts drift apart. To mask the DISTANCE we felt, we instinctively SHOUT instead of speak so the other party can hear us.'

'But as we SHOUT, we get ANGRIER. And we felt we drift apart further. So we SHOUT even louder...'

'It is the opposite when we are in love. Not only we do not shout, we whisper into each other ears. Why?'

Therefore, when we are arguing, DO NOT speak words that will make our hearts drift apart. WAIT a few days. When you feel your hearts are no longer far apart, pick up the conversation and continue from there.
